AA in Women's Prisons

We can go to a meeting any time, but the women in prison only have the meetings that we provide.

You don't need to have been in prison yourself to carry the AA message in this way.

Are you willing to help - just once a month - by going on the Roster?

If so, you will find more information here - Applications.      Renewals       Rosters

Please note:

  • Because the process for obtaining a clearance is quite involved you need to make a long-term commitment to this form of service - say 2 to 5 years.
  • Two years of sobriety is considered necessary to ensure we have enough emotional stability and sufficiently clear boundaries for this service.
  • If you are interested and would like to contact somebody about anything further please ring Penelope (02) 4751 8835 or email areahwomensprisons@gmail.com.
